So, it's been about 2 weeks since we returned from the amazing
"Spectrum Fantastic Art Live" show in Kansas City. We are just now catching our breath. What a terrific show. Our studio
"Sampsel Preston Photography" was asked again this year, for the second time, to come out and set up a pop-up photo studio on the show floor to take portraits of some of the incredibly talented Artists that were showing their work as well as some of the specials guests. Over the course of the 3 day show we had the chance to see quite a few old friends and make many new one's, and take over 100 portraits of the extremely talented creators that were there. We want to give a big thanks to
Cathy and Arnie Fenner for creating such a wonderful forum for artists to show their work, and also to Show Director and publisher
John Fleskes for allowing us to be there, and last but not least, a huge thank you to our sponsor
Murray Elliott of
Mega-Pixels Digital for sending out the newest
Phase-one Camera, lenses, and the new IQ250 digital back to make the portraits with, the quality is really remarkable. Here are some of the portraits, please let us know what you think:
Please click on any of the Artists names to see what their work looks like.
If you like what you see, show these people some love and support them by purchasing their books, prints and originals!
It is not easy being an artist.
I will post more portraits in the next few days.
Thanks, Greg Preston
One of the highlights of my SFAL Weekend is stopping by for a Master Portrait with Greg Preston. The session is as fun as the portraits are amazing. Bravo, Greg and Sharon, and thanks again!
