As promised, here are a few more portraits from the "
Spectrum Fantastic Art Live" show that we attended a couple weeks ago. Our thought again this year was to set up a pop-up studio, photograph each artist, have the artist choose their favorite shot, and retouch, print, and hang a portrait gallery on the spot. With the okay from
Arnie and Cathy Fenner and
John Fleskes, and with the sponsorship of a new Phase one camera and IQ250 digital back from
Murray Elliott at Megapixels digital,
Sharon Sampsel, our assistant/photographer
Justin Crain, and I managed to take, print, and hang over 100 portraits of the amazing Artists and guests that attended the show. I always am fascinated with the frame that each Artist chooses, but it always gives me a peek inside of how they most authentically view themselves.
As I finally have the chance to go over the shots, great memories of the show come flooding back; what a terrific time! If you haven't been to one of the previous shows, start making plans now to attend next years show, I promise you won't regret it.
Anyway, here you go, have a look, let me know what you think.

Go ahead and click on the artists names to see their work, contact them and in many cases purchase their prints, sketches and even original paintings...cool right?
I'll try and post more portraits in a few days,
Greg Preston
